What is the color temperature of an H7 LED bulb?
LED technology is especially popular for its low energy consumption. In terms of Watts, an H7 LED bulb is much less greedy than another halogen. However, it is often criticized that the color temperature of LED bulbs makes them a poor choice for automotive lighting. However, this is not the case at all.
The LED bulb, whether for interior lighting, parking or sidelights, turn signals, license plate or tail lights, is perfectly capable of producing white light identical to that of a bulb halogen. Indeed, you can find different color temperatures on H7 LED bulbs.

The warm color has a temperature between 2700 and 3500 Kelvin. However, although this warmer color is generally described as being better on the eye, it does not impart good color to the headlights. It also doesn't have the brightness to illuminate long distances.
The bright color has a temperature between 3500 and 5000 Kelvin. It is neither hot nor tiring on the eyes. They can be found on different models of headlights. Here you have cold white which is enough to see further and have a wider view.
Super bright color has a temperature over 5000 Kelvin. You have pure white here which will allow you to see the farthest and have a wider view on the road. On the other hand, it can tire the eyes of motorists who pass you.
What is the lumen on an H7 LED bulb?
The total amount of visible light produced by a source is measured in lumens. While color will make a beam of light more or less visible, the intensity of light will always be measured in lumens.
Most headlight models use a light intensity of 6000, 6500, 8000 or 10,000 lumens. But, in general, you can relate it to the color temperature. Warm colored H7 LED lamps will normally have between 6000 to 6500 lumens. Brightly colored, white illuminated H7 LED headlight bulbs will have around 8,000 lumens. And H7 LED bulbs similar to xenon ballast headlights will have around 10,000 lumens. Philips and Osram stood out on these types of very bright LED car bulbs.
How to choose an H7 LED bulb?
By choosing the wrong H7 diode bulb, you may not have a sufficiently powerful lighting system. Thus, it is more prudent to fully understand the features to consider before choosing a high power H7 LED bulb.
Already, check the voltage that is available on your vehicle and which is expressed in Volts. In general, small cars are 12V while SUVs and utility vehicles are 24V.
