What is the point of this operation?

Cleaning is of critical importance in certain industrial sectors. To ensure the proper functioning of machines, their cleanliness is essential. Moreover, the particles present in an excessively dusty environment increase the risk of accidents for operators.

The removal of dust encrusted on surfaces is particularly essential in the printing industry guaranteeing the quality of prints. Indeed, debris can affect the bonding of two substances. The same applies to the gluing and hot stamping operation. Among other things, natural dusting improves the properties of surfaces and the adhesion of materials.

Which dust collection system to choose?

Different dust collection systems are applicable in the industrial sector. Two techniques are mainly used. The former requires mechanical contact and is used in the printing industry, in the manufacture of printed films and in conveyors. In this case, the cleaning actually affects the materials. The parts are thus clean before their use in the production facilities.

The second system does not require any mechanical contact and can be done using different techniques: air blowing, suction or ionization. This system allows surfaces to be dusted without the risk of modifying their properties or damaging them. It is used in particular to eliminate dust on installations in textile industry. In this case, an antistatic system is used. This technique improves the electrostatic relationship between embedded dust and surfaces. The particles suspended above the support are then sucked up.
